"Thank you for being you." Such a simple statemen "Thank you for being you."

Such a simple statement and yet so powerful.

Imagine if we all heard this more often.

Are you keen to try it out today? Who would you thank for being themselves?

One of the first things women lose in burnout is t One of the first things women lose in burnout is themselves.

And it happens sowly, gradually, one responsibility at a time.

One "I'll do it" at a time.
One "it's easier if I just handle it" at a time.

Until one day you realise: You know what everyone else needs, but you have no idea what you actually need. It's buried under a pattern of people pleasing and competing to prove your worth.

To keep you safe.
To keep you loved.

That's the root to address, not something a weekend away or a bubble bath will "fix".

It needs your attention, and will keep circling back as burnout until you meet it with the kindness and softness and compassion you so deserve.

That's why I'm here. To support you through.

What would you genuinely want to do? Sometimes th What would you genuinely want to do?

Sometimes the answer tells us just how long we've been putting ourselves at the bottom of the list.

I'd love to hear your answer below. 👇🏻

Reflect on it this week, you can even share your thoughts in your journal ❤️

The world keeps moving, notifications keep blinkin The world keeps moving, notifications keep blinking, tasks keep stacking, and still, something in you chooses not too stretch yourself thin just to keep every thread of expectation intact.

Nothing dramatic changes. But inside, there is a powerful reclaiming taking place, a soft return to yourself in the middle of all the noise.

You begin to notice that not everything needs your immediate response, your full energy, or your final word. Some things can simply wait.

Now, what is your body asking for right now?
Go do that, no explanation required

The belief that rest must be earned runs deep. For The belief that rest must be earned runs deep. For so many of us, it was never something we consciously chose to believe. It was something we absorbed. Through the messages we received growing up, through workplaces that rewarded overworking, through the praise we received for being helpful, responsible, reliable, and always available.

We have spent years, even decades, tying our worth to what we do. To how much we can carry. To how much we can achieve. To how much we can give to everyone around us.

So when we finally sit down to rest, instead of feeling peaceful, we feel discomfort.

The mind starts listing everything that still needs doing. The guilt creeps in. The voice that says, "You should be doing something productive" gets louder. Rest starts to feel indulgent rather than necessary.

I know that feeling well.

My nervous system had become so familiar with being busy, solving problems, anticipating needs, and staying one step ahead that rest almost felt unsafe.

What I've come to understand is that it's not a mindset issue, it's conditioning.

What if rest isn't something that comes after you've done enough?
What if rest is one of the things that allows you to live, love, work, create, and care for others in a sustainable way?

The women I work with are often surprised by how much emotion comes up around this conversation. Because underneath the exhaustion we always find deeper emotions and fears.

The to-do list will never give you permission.
There will always be another task, another responsibility, another reason to keep going.
And at some point, we have to stop waiting for permission and start offering it to ourselves.

So if this belief feels difficult to accept, you're not alone. Repeat it as many times as you need to.
And as always, I'm here if you need deeper support to help you break the burnout cycle.
